In addition to offering online information, Summerly Homeschool is also a small secular inclusive homeschool group that meets regularly for park days, field trips, workshops, and more. Many events take place in the Peachtree Corners/Norcross/Lilburn area, though we also offer workshops and meet ups in Decatur and Avondale Estates, and will be adding rotating park days in other neighborhoods this spring.
Most of our events are for members only. There is no fee for membership, but we do have a few rules:
• All members must be currently homeschooling or just beginning their homeschool journey.
• Bullying, intolerance, and rude behavior — online or in person — is not allowed.
• We are a secular group, which means that we are not a religious-based group — though members may have their own personal religious or spiritual beliefs. No proselytizing is allowed.
• We do not discriminate against anyone based on race, nationality, age, gender, sexual orientation, religious or personal beliefs, homeschooling style/philosophy or anything else.
